A magical evening, for the most noble cause.
Over 200 leaders in the flooring industry recently gathered to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Floor Covering Industry Foundation at the Rainbow Room at the top of the Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. They cheered the lifetime accomplishments three industry leaders – Howard Brodsky, Jeanne Matson, and Dana Teague. They raised over $250,000 to support flooring industry workers battling catastrophic illnesses. And they danced the night away on one of the most iconic floors in the United States.
The star inlaid rotating hardwood dance floor of the Rainbow Room has been graced by presidents, dignitaries, and even Frank Sinatra. At the gala, Board chair, Charlie Dilks, shared that this charity is one of very few industry-specific foundations designed with a singular mission – to take care of their workforce during their hardest battles.
